  The 67th Annual Grammy Awards took place on the 2nd of February 2025. The event occurred at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Trevor Noah served as host for the fifth consecutive year. This marked his fifth time leading the ceremony since he first hosted in 2021. The main broadcast aired on CBS and was available to stream on Paramount+. A premiere ceremony preceded the main event at the Peacock Theater starting at 12:30 p.m. PT. Nominations were announced through a YouTube livestream on the 8th of November 2024. First round voting took place from October 4 to the 15th of October 2024. Final round voting ran from the 12th of December 2024, to the 3rd of January 2025. Winners were revealed during the Grammy Premiere Ceremony and telecast on February 2.

  Kendrick Lamar swept all five nominations for Not Like Us including Record of the Year and Song of the Year. His song tied with Up Up and Away to become the joint-most decorated song in Grammy history. He became the second rap artist to win both awards after Childish Gambino in 2019. Beyoncé received eleven nominations setting a new one-year record for female artists. She won three awards including Album of the Year and Best Country Album for Cowboy Carter. She became the first Black woman to win Album of the Year since Lauryn Hill in 1999. Her career total reached 99 nominations breaking a tie with Jay-Z. Chappell Roan took home Best New Artist while Sierra Ferrell swept four American roots categories. Doechii won Best Rap Album for Alligator Bites Never Heal making her the third woman to win after Hill and Cardi B.

  The Recording Academy coordinated with local authorities to proceed during Southern California wildfires. Chief executive officer Harvey Mason Jr. urged voting members to cast ballots with purpose and integrity without bias or grudge-holding. The ceremony carried a renewed sense of purpose raising funds for wildfire relief efforts. Commercial airtime was donated to help small businesses affected by the fires.   No new categories were introduced for the first time in four years. Best Remixed Recording Non-Classical moved from Production Engineering Composition & Arrangement Field to Pop & Dance/Electronic Field. Best Pop Dance Recording renamed to Best Dance Pop Recording. Best Dance/Electronic Music Album became Best Dance/Electronic Album requiring at least 50% Dance/Electronic recordings. Conjunto music now recognized under Best Regional Roots Music Album instead of Best Música Mexicana Album including Tejano. Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games required more than 50% music derived from new episodes or programming released during eligibility year. Harry Belafonte Best Song for Social Change Award became a CEO Merit Award selected by peers dedicated to artistic expression. All eligibly-certified featured artists with less than 50% playing time received Winners Certificates for genre album categories except Best Musical Theater Album. Annual fee media companies pay increased to $180 for online entry process. Criteria for Best Traditional R&B Performance amended to represent classical elements distinguishing them from contemporary interpretations.
