Best Score Soundtrack for Video Games required more than 50% music derived from new episodes or programming released during eligibility year. Harry Belafonte Best Song for Social Change Award became a CEO Merit Award selected by peers dedicated to artistic expression. All eligibly-certified featured artists with less than 50% playing time received Winners Certificates for genre album categories except Best Musical Theater Album. Annual fee media companies pay increased to $180 for online entry process. Criteria for Best Traditional R&B Performance amended to represent classical elements distinguishing them from contemporary interpretations.
