Capcom Fighting Collection 2 includes eight arcade titles spanning from 1998 to 2004. The lineup features Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein, Power Stone, Power Stone 2, Project Justice, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, and Capcom Fighting Evolution.
The compilation launched across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One on the 16th of May 2025. A physical version exists for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 consoles only.
An update released on the 7th of August 2025 made Ingrid, Maki, Yun, and Eagle playable fighters through a new toggle. These additional characters remain unavailable for any online play functionality.
Every title within the collection now supports online ranked play using rollback netcode technology. Users can also access training modes that display input frames to analyze timing down to the frame.
Pre-ordered copies included an exclusive comic book featuring art produced by Udon Entertainment. Two additional remixes for the gallery served as pre-order bonuses for all versions of the game.
