Raiders owner Mark Davis retained the architecture firm MANICA to design a ten-level domed stadium in Paradise, Nevada. The structure features an ETFE roof that allows natural sunlight while maintaining climate control inside.
Construction crews began work on the 13th of November 2017 after site preparation started earlier that September. The final cost reached $1.97 billion which is $175 million over the initial estimate.
The stadium is located in Paradise, Nevada with more than 35,000 parking spaces within a mile of the facility. The stadium address changed from 5617 Dean Martin Drive to 3333 Al Davis Way on the 27th of August 2019.
