Welcome to the journal

This is the first entry. There is not much to say yet beyond hello.

We started HearLore because every rabbit hole deserves a voice. A wiki article is a quiet thing on the page. Read aloud, threaded, followed from one idea to the next, it becomes a story you can live inside for an afternoon.

The journal is where we write about the craft of that listening. Entries are short. Some are field notes on a topic that pulled us in. Some are behind-the-scenes on how the app works. All are written the same way a good entry sounds: calm, specific, and willing to linger.

What to expect

Short reads. Usually five hundred words or fewer. Plain prose with the occasional diagram. No clickbait, no tracking pixels, no email capture dialog in your face.

We will write when we have something worth saying.
