Travis Willingham is best known for voicing Roy Mustang in the Fullmetal Alchemist franchise, Guile in the Street Fighter franchise, Knuckles the Echidna in the Sonic the Hedgehog series from 2010 to 2018, and Grog Strongjaw on the Dungeons and Dragons web series Critical Role. He is also CEO of Critical Role Productions.
Willingham learned that the English dub of Dragon Ball Z was being recorded in Dallas and asked fellow voice actress Laura Bailey to put in a good word for him. A director auditioned him for the role of Roy Mustang in Fullmetal Alchemist, and he received the part, launching his career in voice acting.
