The six-disc Super Deluxe Edition includes four CDs plus additional content featuring studio outtakes from the recording sessions, monaural mixes alongside the new stereo version, a documentary titled Sgt. Pepper's Musical Revolution, five point one surround sound mixes in DVD and Blu-ray form, George Martin's 1992 TV documentary The Making of Sgt. Pepper, and a book containing liner notes with essays discussing psychedelic culture and 1960s politics.
Apple Corps and Universal Music hosted a preview event on the 10th of April 2017 at Studio 2 at Abbey Road Studios where around 100 attendees witnessed the new stereo mix firsthand.
