Nutty Putty Cave is a hydrothermal cave in Utah County, Utah, west of Utah Lake, known for extremely narrow passages. It drew amateur and professional cavers, Boy Scout troops, and college students before it was permanently closed.

Nutty Putty Cave closed permanently in 2009 after John Edward Jones became trapped inside and was pronounced dead on the 25th of November 2009. All entrances were later sealed with concrete.
John Edward Jones became stuck upside down in a narrow fissure about 400 feet inside Nutty Putty Cave on the 24th of November 2009. After roughly 27 hours and a failed rescue attempt with a rope-and-pulley system, the strain of his inverted position caused his heart to stop.
A film about the Nutty Putty Cave accident, The Last Descent, was released on the 16th of September 2016. In 2025, a recreation of the cave was added to the virtual reality video game Cave Crave, with narration from rescuer Brandon Kowallis.
