Jeff Lynne is an English musician, singer-songwriter, and record producer born on the 30th of December 1947 in Erdington, Birmingham. He is the co-founder and sole consistent member of Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), formed in 1970, for which he wrote all of the band's music from 1972 onward.
