The series won Anime of the Year at the 4th Crunchyroll Anime Awards in 2020 and Animation of the Decade at Funimation's Decade of Anime poll. It also received the Special Achievement Award at the 62nd Japan Record Awards and won the Yahoo! Japan Search Awards anime category in both 2019 and 2020.
