Daniel Licht is best known for writing the score of the Showtime television drama series Dexter, which he scored across all of its seasons from 2006 to 2013. He also composed the music for all three games in the Dishonored series and took over as lead composer on the Silent Hill video game franchise in 2012.
Daniel Licht died in August 2017 at the age of 60 from sarcoma. He died at his home in Topanga, California.
