Regularly scheduled programming began later on the 30th of November 1969 within the city of Santiago de los Caballeros. The initial transmissions originated from the Matum hotel located in Santiago.
Poppy Bermudez was a Dominican businessman who invested significant funds to help the network open its own studio. These early years established a foundation for what would become one of the largest channels in the country.
One of the first show hosts was Manolo Quiroz. People such as Jack Veneno found work at the station and carved out a niche among Dominican television viewers.
An agreement with NBCUniversal was reached in December 2024 enabling the network to air content from its catalog starting January 2025. This partnership focuses especially on Telemundo's telenovelas.
